Cars’ transmission problem signs

The transmission is one of the most expensive parts of a car to be repaired. Most of the cars that are sold nowadays are built well.  But it can be easily broken and very expensive to fix.So you should always see to it that you regularly maintain your transmission. With that in mind let’s look at some signs of transmission problems.

First sign of problems with a transmission is the fluid.  If you go to check the fluid with a dipstick it can give you a sign. If you find out that the level of the fuid is always low then that could be a sign of a leak.If the fluid has a burnt smell or is dark in color then that is a sure sign of problems.Always check the fluids of your car to make sure that there won’t be any major damage in the transmission of your car. If you observe one these signs then that would also be a sign for you that you need to go immediately to an auto repair shop.  I catch a lot of transmission problems early in my San Marcos transmission repair shop with these signs alone.

Another sign of problems for your car’s transmission is when you shift it into drive and there is a delay. If you shift it and it takes a moment to get into gear that is a sign of a problem. Delay of engagement is what they call that problem. This could be caused by a worn out transmission or another problem. I have all my clients take it into my San Marcos auto repair shop anytime they get the delayed engagement problem.

Finally when you are driving the vehicle if shifting of gears is jerky there is a problem.  All shifting should be smooth with no slipping.This would be the sign that your transmission is worn out because every time you shift gear your car jerks. I catch a lot of problems early in my Carlsbad transmission repair shop when this happens.By detecting problems earlier, a customer can save more money instead of spending it on repairs.

Ever since Grandpa got his new mobility scooter he’s been like a new man You should see him! During the nighttime he recharges it, then the next day he’s ready to go He drives along the sidewalk and beeps, waves and smiles at all those that cross his path in the downtown area He’s says he’s never had such fun Before he got his new scooter, grandpa hardly left the house, and now you can’t keep him inside on a sunny day But one thing still worried grandpa After he was finished spinning his wheels, he had trouble getting his mobility scooter in the trunk of his car Grandpa really can’t lift that much, even though the scooter isn’t very heavy Oftentimes, he had to stop a stranger on the street and ask for help, which always embarrassed him Grandpa is a man of pride and independence And that’s why he was so happy when mother bought him a scooter lift for his birthday

Now grandpa is free to spin his wheels for as long as he likes without having to worry about asking for help from strangers With his new scooter lift, he is free once more to do more of what he wants to do Mother is happy, too She’s says she’s never seen her father so full of life and energy She hopes she’s that active when she’s as old as he is I hope that, too All I can say is thank goodness for that scooter lift, our entire family is very happy with the end resultI only wish we had known how useful they are sooner

More People Opt For Used Cars Rather Than New Models

We constantly hear on the news how the motoring industry is suffering badly from the recession. Atleast once every week the same story is reported, how the motoring industry is collapsing because the public aren’t choosing to buy a new Alfa Romeo. However, there are sectors of the motoring industry that are doing well, but we never hear about them.

The used car marketing is one of the only sectors of the motoring industry that is doing well. Prices of used cars have been going against the flow of the recession, they have been rising. This may not sound very positive for the customer because you will have to pay more for used cars, however, if you are going to trade in your old car towards a different one, you will find you will be offered far more for your car than ever before.

The reason why this part of the industry has become popular is that people are trying to save as much cash as they can. In an attempt to do this, they opt for buying a second hand car rather than a brand new one. One thing that hasn’t helped the new car market is that the prices have actually risen due to the recession. You’d think that would be the last thing car manufacturers would want to do, however, because the current exchange rates are so poor, manufacturers are forced to raise prices.

Due to the rise in people buying used cars rather than new ones, the demand for second hand cars has seen a considerable rise. As the demand for second hand motors rise, plus with the scrappage scheme resulting in more scrapped cars, the job of finding a good used car is becoming harder. Now because used car dealers are running out of cars to sell, they are offering more for trading in a car, making it sound like a better deal for car owners looking to sell.

The only problem with this is that although you are being paid more for your old car, when you buy a new second hand car, it’s costing you more. So really you are not making any more money that you normally would, but the majority of people would still want to buy a second hand car rather than buy an Audi straight out of the factory.

The only people that look to lose out from the price rises are the customers that choose to not trade in an old car.

Car Industry sees light at the end of the tunnel

India’s car sales will accelerate this year as economic growth is helping these countries withstand a global slump in automobile demand, an industry group has stated. This has spurred Maruit Suzuki to increase their own investment in the region.

Car sales across India alone are set to increase by at least 10 percent in the year to March 2010, double an April estimate for a 5 percent expansion. The thirteen carmakers in India sold 1.22 million cars last year which is an incredible statistic to consider especially when the car industry is taking a massive hit across the globe.  Since this statistic was released some of the biggest companies in the world like General Motors, Toyota and Honda are making more and more investments into the car making industry localised in places like India and China as the economy and sales in US, Europe and Japan are falling rapidly.

The market for used cars in India has also risen with the need to buy a new BMW or buy a nissan dropping. Used cars for sale these days are extremely reasonable in over populated regions of the world like India and people are more than prepared to make the most of this now. China, japan and America are amongst several countries that are offering a mix of credits and tax breaks to try and boost auto sales by getting consumers to trade-in old cars for newer, more fuel efficient models which is thus helping keep the environment clean and safe. India’s central bank injected roughly 5.6 trillion rupees into the economy which together with the government fiscal stimulus amounted to more than 12 percent of gross domestic product. Automotive sales also gained in India by 1.3 percent in the fiscal year which ended in late March, the slowest pace recorded from the last seven years. Because of the vast amount of people living in India and China there is a massive chance that there economies will recover so much quicker than the rest of the world.
